LIVELIHOOD BUSINESS INCUBATOR CENTRE AT JGTR, RANCHI

The main objective of LIVELIHOOD BUSINESS INCUBATOR (LBI) is to create jobs at local level and reduce un-employment by creating a favorable ecosystem for entrepreneurial development in the country. The main focus area under the livelihood incubation is to take up those commercial activities, which are need based to create enterprises in the rural areas of the country.

Objective of LBI

  • To set up business incubators so that eligible youth can be adequately incubated in various skills and be provided the opportunity to set up their own business enterprises;
  • To impart entrepreneurship, and skill development training to youth;
  • To provide mentoring and hand holding with facilitation for funding with a view to empower them to set up own business enterprises.
  • To promote new low-end-technology/livelihood-based enterprises.

JGTR Ranchi has come forward to a great extent to help the youth. Livelihood Business Incubation Center in Jharkhand Government Tool Room Ranchi Take a holistic approach encompassing multiple components of health, education, skill training, capacity building and awareness. The work of the projects is coordinated with the government development programs and facilitates linkages with public services and schemes for the project beneficiaries. This Livelihood Business Incubation Development Center is tailored to local needs through a preliminary need assessment, in which local needs are identified and the final design and outcomes of the project are decided. Usually, a project is implemented in a single area to achieve impact and sustainable development. Each project ultimately aims to enable the beneficiaries to become change-makers in their communities and regions. The Livelihood Business Incubation at Jharkhand Government's Tool Room Ranchi has been set up under the guidelines of MSME "ASPIRE" program with various roles to intervene and cater to the various needs of the society. It covers many areas of interest which will create better employment opportunities in the society
